Contending for the Gospel

This sermon focuses on the communal and historical nature of orthodoxy. We will explore Jude's command to "contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints." This is not a call to be combative, but a call to be faithful stewards of the truth we have received. We will look at the importance of the Church as a pillar and foundation of truth, and how creeds and tradition (not traditionalism) serve to protect the core message of the Gospel for future generations.
