Who Is My Neighbor?

 Faith Beyond the Walls

Core Idea: Our faith isn't meant to be contained within the physical or metaphorical walls of our church building. It's a dynamic, transformative force designed to be lived out in our homes, workplaces, schools, and communities. This series will explore what it means to take our faith "beyond the walls" and become agents of God's love and justice in the world.

Sermon 4: The Parable of the Good Samaritan

Luke 10:25-37
Sermon Summary: This classic parable challenges our definitions of "neighbor." It pushes us beyond our comfortable social circles and church friends to embrace those in need, even those we might consider "outsiders" or enemies. The sermon will focus on breaking down walls of prejudice and extending compassionate care to everyone we encounter.

Interesting sermon this week, Pastor Rich, defining neighbor could be as simple as the person who joins you at the dinner table or at the coffee shop. Or even the person who sits next to you in church. Leaves alot to think about.

Next time I should really put the horse before the cart instead of the other way around,
