Ambassadors of Christ

As Ambassadors of Christ, we declare above all things, that
Jesus Christ is Lord

In this declaration, we publicly profess faith in Jesus Christ, affirmed in water baptism, and by virtue of God’s grace, that we are:

People of Holiness

Holiness is not based on who we are, but because of who Jesus Christ is as Sovereign Head of the One Church.

People of the Bible
As people of the Bible, we affirm the Holy Bible as the Divinely Inspired Word of God.

People of God
We affirm the Triune nature of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
(See C-Article 6.2;3; and 4 of the Canon)
People of Salvation
Salvation is God's gift to all people. It is free to anyone who receives Jesus Christ as Lord, by grace alone, through faith alone. Participating in God's redeeming grace sets the believer free from the bondage of intentional sin.

People of Sanctification
As sanctified people we participate in the ongoing and progressive work of salvation where believers are transformed by the renewal of mind, heart, and spirit into the demonstration of Christian love to others.

People of Covenant
As Covenant People, we are sealed in Water Baptism as members of the One, Holy, Universal, Christian, and Apostolic Church.

People of Communion:
In the Lord's Supper we are reminded of the outward sign of the inward grace of Christ Redemptive work on the cross. The bread and the cup in communion is a participation in the covenant sealed by Christ unifying all believers in One Church, One Faith, One Baptism, under One Sovereign Lord.

People on Mission
Since the foundation of Ambassadors of Christ, we have stood firm in our God-given mission of being and making Christlike disciples of Jesus Christ according to Christ's Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20.

As Ambassadors of Christ, we are committed to living out the way of Jesus. We resolve to be a community that affirms and welcomes all, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or differing abilities in worship and opportunities for service and fellowship.

Grace–a subversive value! Giving people more than they deserve.

Hope–not a guarantee of immunity from harm but a conviction that God is always present

Faith- the means to real depth in relationships of all kinds

Love–means to love all people; even the unlovely

Justice–for all (not ‘just-me’). A concept biased in favor of the disadvantaged.

Joy–impossible to legislate for this but an essential social value

Service–meaning is found in service rather than being self-centered

Peace–not just the absence of fighting but positive well-being
